The famous actress from the hills Kangana Ranaut has purchased a new property in the Pali Hill area of the city for a whopping Rs 20 cr approximately. The property is located on the Nargis Dutt road and is a a ground floor plus three storey structure with a 565 sqft parking space.
Following in the tradition of her colleagues Shahrukh Khan, Amir Khan, Salman Khan, and others who have their own production houses, the Bollywood diva too is planning to use the property for her production banner, Manikarnika Films. The registration for the said property was done in September and Kangana will use it as her office space from early next year.
Shooting into prominence with her critically acclaimed films like Queen, Tanu Weds Manu, Fashion, etc the actress was seen this year in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon" and Hansal Mehta's "Simran". She is currently filming "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi", based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi.
The actress has a penchant for courting controversies galore. Earlier, making her appearance on the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan” for promotion of her film Rangoon, she directly called the host, Karan Johar, the flag bearer of nepotism. The rest is history. Since then she had sparked the debate about the practice of nepotism in the industry.
She was recently in the news for opening up about her relationship with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan on the show Aap Ki Adalat. She also spoke about the atrocities she dealt with during her relationship with Aditya Pancholi. Legal battle between the latter and Kangana has already begun.
